Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Furnishing Packs. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Furnishing Packs is a trading name of West Yorkshire Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide furniture packages for residential and commercial rental properties, including delivery and professional installation across the United Kingdom.
2. Orders
2.1 All orders are subject to acceptance by Furnishing Packs. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
2.2 A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing by email.
2.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided at the time of ordering is accurate, including property address, access arrangements and contact details.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.
3.2 Payment is required in full prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4. Delivery and Installation
4.1 We offer free delivery and professional installation to addresses throughout the United Kingdom.
4.2 Delivery timescales are estimates only. Whilst we aim to deliver within 48 hours of order confirmation, we cannot guarantee delivery times and shall not be liable for any losses arising from delays.
4.3 You are responsible for ensuring access to the property on the agreed delivery date. If our team is unable to access the property, additional charges may apply for rescheduling.
4.4 If a third party (such as a letting agent, concierge or key holder) is to provide access on your behalf, you must inform us in advance. We accept no liability for issues arising from third-party access arrangements.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Once an order has been confirmed and payment received, it cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
5.2 If you wish to make changes to your order prior to delivery, you must contact us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to accommodate changes where operationally feasible, but cannot guarantee this.
5.3 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer legislation.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
6.1 You must inspect all items at the time of delivery and notify us of any damage or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery by emailing he***@****************co.uk.
6.2 We will arrange replacement or repair of any items confirmed as damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied at no additional cost to you. We shall not be liable for damage reported after the 48-hour window.
7. Customisation and Bespoke Orders
Where we agree to customise a package or supply bespoke items at your request, such items are non-refundable and non-returnable in all circumstances. Any additional charges for customisation will be agreed in writing before the order is confirmed.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that order.
8.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, including but not limited to loss of rental income, loss of profit or loss of opportunity.
8.3 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Furnishing Packs website, including images, text, logos and package designs, is the property of West Yorkshire Group Limited and may not be reproduced without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website at furnishingpacks.co.uk.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
